zain121 - Forum

السلام عليكم

I have recently created a new forum for members to be able to seek a different Islamic information.

This forum has been created to achieve a different purpose to other Islamic forums on the internet.

The aim of the forum is not to provide the Muslim community with a place to be able to interact with other Muslim's and benefit from the various and vast knowledge that other members hold.

It is neither a place that will be filled with articles, talks, audios and sections that are found on other forums.

The main objective and aim of this forum is to educate the Ummah in regards to the detailed information and knowledge of the religion of Islam, going, at times, into depth and presenting the pearls of wisdom safeguarded from our pious predecessors.

It will be a place where the Qur'an and Hadeeth will be discussed in depth and its relevance to today's world will be depicted.

Whatever is produced on this forum will be from the Shari'ah and I pray that it is beneficial to the Muslim Ummah as well as those who seek the understanding of Islam.

This forum is an attempt to gather Knowledge of different areas of Islam and present them in a range of depth which will be suitable for beginners as well as people who have a greater level of understanding and Knowledge.

The link to the forum is: Zain121 - Forum.

May Allah make it a source of salvation for me as well as the readers. Aameen.

Collection of Treasures - Blog

For some time I have been preparing a blog dedicated to my Darul Uloom and teachers. From even before enrolling until present I have received a lot from my Madrassah, in the form of guidance, knowledge, support as well as advice.

The Madrassah, over the years, has provided many students with various knowledge through many different teachers. However, along with this knowledge it has guided its students in many matters relating to this world and the Hereafter.

The principles of the Madrassah were clear that knowledge without practice was not regarded as knowledge at all. In fact, it was as though a donkey was made to carry books on its back; it becomes a burden and bears no fruit. In effort to avoid being in the above category, an effort was made on each student to provide them with spiritual guidance and understanding of the responsibilities this knowledge brought along with it. Without such guidance, I am certain that our knowledge would come from our mouths and surpass through the listeners' ears; but practice creates sincerity and through sincerity do these words fall upon the heart.

My Darul Uloom made every effort to provide us with loving, caring teachers, who regarded us as not mere students but also like their sons. Through their dedicated efforts and loving nature they taught us the knowledge contained within the books through their various different personalities and whilst doing so teaching us much more than can be found within books.

The environment we were provided to learn and seek the knowledge Islam within is non-comparable and inexpressible; the only expression I can say is that it became our first home whilst our residence became our second home. The relaxation and comfort we received and continue to receive is a blessing of our Madrassah that cannot be explain but only experienced.

Today, I feel obliged to these teachers for giving me the honour of being their student. I pray to Allah that I remain their student for eternity and am able to accumulate their pearls of wisdom and also bring them into practice.

In an effort to preserve my days at the Madrassah and to spread the wisdom of my respected teachers, I have made an attempt to post some of their words and advices on a new blog, www.zainulabedeen.blogspot.com. I pray that its message and posts are beneficial to the students of knowledge as they have been to me.

I pray to Allah to grant the Madrassah strength upon strength and to make it successful in all its aims. May He spread the work of the Jame'ah across the globe. Aameen.

FEEDBLITZ

As Salaamu Alaykum,

As many readers will already be aware of the fact that Bloglet may no longer be an available service to bloggers.

Therefore, many bloggers have decided to move to Feedblitz which seems to be more stable.

There was a request for some bloggers to re-subscribe to the blogs. However, this won't be necessary as I have imported my contacts from Bloglet to Feedblitz and therefore all subscribers should be receiving updates in their mail as usual.

However, if you did not receive an update for this post, please re-enter your email address to subscribe to this blog.

Finally, I would like to take this opportunity to inform people that there subscription is now available on my new blog. www.zain121.wordpress.com.

Request for Duas

For the past week, I have not been well at all. I've been to the Accident & Emergency and from their I got admitted into Hospital. I stayed there a couple of nights of 'NBM' (Nil By Mouth) where I was on drips and nothing to eat. The pain was bad and the needles that were injected me at short intervals were worse. I've returned home and resting now.

The pain is still there and I am still on the path of recovery.

I know that I was supposed to finishe off the series of articles on "Marriage" but I am in no condition at the moment. Therefore, there will be no posts on this blog for a short while until I recover.

Please make special Duaa for me.

News & Views

This blog was originally published so that we gain some knowledge about our Religion, Islam. Although there are many blogs and websites out there that have been created for the same purpose, I felt that individuals needed more 'simple' material from which they could gain knowledge. In an effort to achieve this I created this blog so that people could come here and learn basic, yet essential, knowledge of Islam.

This blog has been of great benefit for me from the moment I published it; it made me look into books and also helped me prepare for many talks. Most of all, it increased my knowledge and allowed me to re-open all of those books which I have in collection. Most of all, it aided me in realising how important it is to keep on 'brushing up' on the knowledge we have so that we always have it at hand when needed.

This blog, being strictly for the knowledge of Islam, through the Qur'an and Sunnah has had many positive responses. However, I felt that it is also important, specially in today's society, to keep a sound knowledge of those things that take place around us and in the wider world. Thus, in order to achieve this, I have created another blog named as News & Views.

This blog aims to bring 'News' to the readers and will be followed by a short 'view' and then if applicable, I will present Qur'anic verses and Prophetic Narrations (Ahadeeth) that are relevant to the news. It also allows everyone to put their views forward.

I pray to Allah that He accepts the efforts of this new blog and that through it I am able to achieve the many objectives I have in mind. May He make it a source of forgiveness and also a means of salvation. Aameen.

Poll Results and Upocoming Posts

As Salaamu Alaykum,

It has been some time since I last posted on this blog and to be honest I haven't had the time to write any articles or type up any of my talks lately. However, I have had a couple of requests through e-mail and through the blog for certain articles.

Looking at the poll, I've had the most votes for the topic of "Nikaah" therefore Insha-Allah I will next post I will start posts on that topic.

I pray that all the readers of this blog are in good health and Imaan and that they are remembering me in their Du'as.

A Short Break...

As Salaamu Alaykum,

Just a short notice to all the readers. Insha Allah, I am leaving to go abroad today for about a month. Therefore, I doubt I will be able to post during my travels.

Some people already know the purpose of my travels and others are probably totally unaware. Insha Allah, I will be aiming to "complete half of my Imaan" and I request each and every reader to keep me in their Duas and make extra special Dua for me that Allah makes me successful and makes everything easy and that this can be a new beginning in the long stretch of efforts in pleasing Allah. Aameen.

I will be keeping everyone of you in my Duas and I hope that I have loads to write once I return from my trip.

Jazakallah for all the support and encouraging comments.

Insha-Allah, once these topics have been discussed we will start:

A New Beginning

As Salaamu Alaykum,

As many readers will be aware, Simply Islam came to a halt from being updated due to some personal reasons.

However, with the help and aid of Allah, things have managed to settle down and life has taken its normal course once again.

Insha-Allah I am hoping that this time Allah will give the strength and inclination to continue this blog in order to benefit those who come here.

As mentioned before, this blog will consist of certain areas of Islamic Education:

1. Fiqh (Jurisprudence) - In simple words, lessons that will teach an individual the most necessary knowledge in regards to their everyday life. Rulings that will be needed in order for one to discharge his daily obligations.

2. Qur'anic Teachings - The Qur'an is the book that was revealed upon the Prophet Sallallahu Alayhi Wa Sallam in order to guide mankind. Insha-Allah a few verses will be mentioned and explained in order to create an understand between the Believer and the Qur'an.

3. Ahadeeth (Prophet Narrations) - Being one of the main sources of our religion, it is vital that each and every Muslim has some sort of connection with the words of the Prophet Sallallahu Alayhi Wa Sallam. Its importance is such that the Sahaaba Radhi Allahu Anhum would travel for months on camel backs in order to attain one Hadeeth.

4. Tazkiyyah (Reformation of the Heart) - "Be Aware, within the body there is a piece of flesh, if that piece of flesh is righteous then the entire body will be righteous, if that piece is corrupt, then the entire body will be corrupt. Know that that piece is the Heart." For a believer to attain the complete level of Imaan (belief) it is important that his heart is reformed. In order to do this, the Mashaa'ikh (spiritual guides) have prescribed many antidotes for the sin of men. Insha-Allah an effort will be made to present these works along in order to make the heart the home of Allah.

Finally, I would like to emphasise that this blog is here for both me and you to benefit from. If there is any way in which this learning could be improved I would more than appreciate ideas and comments.

I pray to Allah that he makes this effort an accepted one, and that through this he gives us all salvation and inclination to achieve that which we have intended to fulfil. Aameen.

Finally, I would like to thank all those who aided me in continuing this blog by their support. May Allah accept your good intentions. Aameen.

Some Changes

As Salaamu Alaykum,

As you may notice that the blog has had slight changes. This was in attempt to include sections for Du'aas, Hadeeth, Qur'an and Fiqh. In addition, I will Insha-allah try to post lessons that will include the correct ways and procedures to carry out our daily religious duties.

Insha-Allah, through these lessons we can be saved from being amongst those who worship Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala yet fail to please Him due to performing the acts in an incorect manner.

To make differentiating between lessons and my current posts easy I will continue with my current posts in blue whilst posting the lessons in red.

May Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala make this a source of salvation for everyone. Aameen.
